I left China for the first time in 5 years in 2023. At first they were supportive of my decision to take a month off to go see family I hadn't seen in half decade until the moment in came for me to go. They told me if I left, that my position would be in danger. I left anyway. After being stuck in China during the entirety of the pandemic and the tomfoolery that went on in China during that time, I felt I deserved a few weeks to see my family.
When I was informed my position was no longer within the company, I moved back to the states permanently, leaving the life I had built in China behind without a plan. I started my own online business helping individuals and businesses with a boost to their business! I'd say a virtual assistant is probably a more accurate headline. I assist in marketing strategies, implementation, SEO, social media management, content creation, livestreams, voiceovers, dubbing, video editing, and more.
While this provides income, it's not quite what I am looking for career wise. I would love to find a stable company that is already established so that I can bring my abilities to the table and help a business flourish.
